Just curious, on a typical day, how many of the posts you read do you add your two cents to?
In my mind I like to think I reply about 80% of the time, but in actual posts it’s probably at 40%. I usually start thinking of my response as I read the OP but by the time I start going through responses it seems that others have already said what I would have said (and usually expressed better than I would have!)
what about you?
Probably only about 10% of the posts I read. Like you, much of what I would say has usually already been said.
I probably respond on about half of the threads I read. I don’t know what else to say on some of them.
I feel that I may respond more than half of the time, if not even more than that. I’ve never really thought about it.
I do agree that a lot of the time, what I wanted to say has already been said, and stated better than I would have 😉
Post # 6
Probably about half. Sometimes people just have said everything, sometimes I can’t think of anything nice to say, and sometimes, I just don’t want to deal with drama.
I’m picky with which posts I even click on, so I would say around 50% I end up replying to.
I’d say about 10%. By the time I get to most posts I feel somebody has already said what I would have said. No need to be redundant. Even though this post may seem redundant. . .

I view WBee Boards on the main list (so I see ALL the topics that are active).
I click purely based on what the title says… which is WHY Discussion Boards / Forums say that what you write as a title is so important.
Which means I am a picky reader / clicker
Of the ones I click on… I read all the OP’s post. And read thru or skim thru ALL the replies…
PET PEEVE OF MINE… When someone replies and hasn’t read beyond page one… so isn’t up to date on what else has been said in a topic, such as UPDATES
(Thank You WBee for the recent “boxed” feature tho… makes it a lot easier to skim for OP UPDATES)
If the topic interests me I’ll reply. If not, I’ll move on.
I probably reply on 75% give or take on what I click on & read
