GIMP! it’s free and runs on windows, linux, and mac machines. http://gimp.org

 

there’s a lot of tutorials out there on how to use it too. if you’re familiar with photoshop or PSP, it has all the same features, just organized slightly differently.

I like Picnik.com but I’ve been looking for a different one that has the option to make the entire picture black and white other than one color like in the pic below:

I have used Gimp for years. It is free and has a lot of the same features as PS. However I did just DL a trial of PS since it has some features that Gimp does not have. Like the new content aware fill I am playing with. It is not as easy as I thought it would be to use.

If you need help with Gimp, just let me know.

If you want something super, hold-your-hand easy, try Picasa. It’s from Google, and it’s super simple to use. There are also a bunch of filters you can use.
