@MrsLongcoatPeacoat:  Other than my synthroid and BC, I take Evening Primrose Oil which helps with hair loss (a symptom of my medical condition).

In the morning I take tyrosine and DLPA along with a B-complex upon rising.

An hour or so later I take Reverestol, D3, Ester C, Magnesium, Carotene complex, Co-enzyme Q10, DHEA and coral calcium. Usually taken along with  glass of raw milk (yum!).

Evenings I take more Ester C, omega fatty acids, vit. E, selenium, MSM, and zinc. The supplements were suggested to me by my naturopath and an doctor that specialize in healthy aging.

The cats and I get probiotics several times weekly.

We keep ibuprofen on hand for pain – FH takes it way more than me. He also has antacids just in case. Oh and he takes a prescription allergy pill every night as he is allergic to cats (we have 10!). I do not take any prescription medications at all and I will be 50 years old soon.  I have not had a cold in years and I have not had a case of the flu in 20 years!

@MrsLongcoatPeacoat:  Vitamin D is great for the immune system, as well as bone health and improving mood. I take it in higher doses when I’m sick and it knocks whatever I have out of me in a few days. Vitamin K needs to be taken with Vitamin D and it’s also good for the heart 🙂
