Since our photographer refuses to help us anymore, there are just a couple of pics that I need something done to and need to know what software I can download. What would need to be done is removing a person(s) and/or item. Thanks ladies!

I think you can get a free trial of Photoshop via Adobe's website (the trail will probably be for 30 days or so... ) Adobe Photoshop is going to have the most options, but it is also very expensive $650+

I second PP.... definitely Photoshop. And the free trial is your best bet.

Do you know anyone with Photoshop already on their computer? FWIW, Photoshop usually refers to Adobe's program.

ETA - If you aren't comfortable with editing photos, I definitely wouldn't attempt it myself. I don't think removing people is easy for a beginner.

Would any of you ladies be able to help me out if you already have the program and know what you're doing? I honestly don't and picnik is a little too advanced for me, that says a lot lol .

I was a tad confused by this title.....photoshop is software.

    HAHA

it depends on what you want to do to your images.  Photoshop will give you the most options.  But if your not savvy with it, it can also be a little confusing.

What about something like picnik?  Its an online photo editing progoram.  And its pretty simple to use.  Good for soomone with a lot of knowledge in that area of things.

@xshellx2003: There was one bee who was offering to do this kind of thing for free. Not sure if she would still be willing, but this is one of her threads http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/is-it-copyright-infringement-to-retouch-your-own-photos

Picasa is free and also very user friendly. It has a retouching tool so you can erase stuff. I use it all the time. Just google "picasa" and download it.
