I find reviews to be very helpful when making decisions. I love trip advisor and yelp. But I admit, for as much as I benefit from reviews, I don’t often write them. So I’m going to try to change that. I would like to share reviews of my wedding vendors, but wonder, what sites do brides actually use? I want to make sure I post reviews in the right place. I usually used weddingwire. Is that the best, or should I know about another?

Well I would consider Wedplan, OneWed or Momentville. All of these websites have review areas on them, plus some vendors have all their reviews post on their website.

I used Facebook. It was easy for me because I already knew the photographers I wanted. So I went on their FB page and scrolled through their “likes” taking note of the caterers, videographers, etc. they liked. I then would go to the vendors page and read the comments left by others.
My photographers have a great reputation in my area for being professionals so I knew I really couldn’t go wrong with anyone they “approved” of via FB. So far everyone I have booked they have endorsed. It turns out many were already on their vendor list as well so all of them have worked together at some point or another.
