My DH and I eloped, but are having a full wedding this coming Sep. I got a wood/gold w-ring to match his but really wanted a diamond band to stack. So I got a WG band stupid cheep at a pawn shop ($100) but I want to wear it on my right hand as it dosn’t match my W-ring or E-ring.
For the coming wedding I can get ONE ring… either a YG diamond band for my stack or a 5 stone RHR. I have ALWAYS wanted a OMC diamond and a 5 stone in this setting, and I just happend to find them put together! But this is my “wedding” and I will get the diamond band to stack at some point anyways, so this would make it more meaning full. I dont know what to do!
So these are my choices
A) RHR 5 stone OMC for $1,800
The first two are the ring I will get the last one is just a 5stone from a mall store
B) A yellow gold 2mm diamond band to go with my W-ring and E-ring also $1800
The one I want! above ^ something close I tried on at the stone below
diamond band in WG that I wear now with my set…
What one do you think I should get? An amazing RHR/anniversary ring that I have ALWAYS wanted or the Diamond band for my W-ring as this IS a wedding and I will be wearing it with a wedding ring?
Either way I know I will get the one I dont get for the wedding at some point…

@NEAM2014: I would go for the wedding band. As absolutely gorgeous as that 5 stone ring is, the YG one is stunning and just works so well with your set ! And I think that the 5 stone ring would be sooo meaningful as a 5 year anniversary present ! 😉

I guess I should say my DH thinks I should get the 5 stone as “you already have a band you wear with your W/E ring” haha MEN! My point is its not the one I want lol

I love that yellow gold one to go with your set… Save the 5 stone for a future anniversary!

If you always wanted the OMCs get that one! Perhaps down the line you can get the other. OMC’s rings that pretty are hard to find.

@Sandeek: Ya I would rather get the Diamond W band now but the jewler said they have 6 different 5stone OMC/OEC parcels to make the 5 stone band, I’ve been wanting one forever and just happened across this one! I am worried if I wait even 3 or 4 years I may miss out on the old cut diamonds. I can find .5-5 ct ones all day but not .25 sets like this!

@NEAM2014: Exactly this! You need to jump on this. The other ring you can always get down the road. Marriage is long, bling buying is perpetual. But sometimes special pieces only come along once. Go for it. Itll be gorgeous. You always wanted one…question answered I think. Congratulations!
