I was reading on Allure that Lancome has a great product - anyone ever try it?

Yes!  I think I use the one you are thinking of.  Even if it's not, the one I use is great!  It's called Glow Sensuelle.  It's a gradual tanner.  I always get a really nice color.  Plus, it smells great and leaves the skin slightly glowy/sparkly (in a completely non-stripper way).

After reading another thread on this topic on here, I purchased those Tan Towels.  They are GREAT!  Very easy to use and natural looking - no orange, oompa loompa color and no funky smell.  Thanks gals!

When I used self-tanner, I always loved Clinique's self-tanning foam. I used their body scrub first to exfoliate.

The Neutrogena Build a tan works well for me. And it doesn't have a funny smell either. I've been using it since I haven't had time to get any sun and we have a friend's wedding coming up soon.

@GFoxBride I've had two pre-cancerous moles removed from my back so I feel you!  I don't go near tanning beds and sunscreen is always on me (if anyone is interested I just tried bareMinerals powder 30spf sunscreen and it works marvelously without grease on your face woo hoo)

Anyway...I use jergens gradual tanning lotion and i like it, but hate the way it smells, so @Miss Olive I'm trying yours!  May I ask how your natural skin is?  I'm porcelin white so some self tanners make me uber yellow
