I met with one floral designer. His prices are on the high end, but it seems like a lot of “services” are included.
Bouquets for bride, 6 bridesmaids, 2 Fgirls, 10 bouts for guys, 3 coursages for mom/grand moms, 20 centerpieces (highs and lows), ceremony pieces, aisle pieces (re-used for cocktail tables), guest & gift tables all comes to a pretty penny. Competitors seem to price about $1500 less, but they just drop off. His team decorates the ceremony space, delivers pieces to each bridal party member, sets up each centerpiece at the table with any rented vases/holders, and moves pieces from ceremony to reception space (they are however at the same site). His company really seems to be involved in helping the theme come alive (from the consultation at least).
So I wonder what “services” besides flower tying does your florist provide? And are these things necessary? (I don’t have a wedding coordinator, but will have a venue provided day of planner).
