My wedding took place a while ago, but I have always wondered about the shape of my dress. It said that it was a “straight” shape on one website, but there were all sorts of dramas with alterations, so I am not sure what shape it was in the end. I’ve been watching some Randy to the Rescue re-runs lately, and my dress seems very similar to the dresses Randy calls fit and flare. However, it looks like it could also be a trumpet, sheath or modified a-line.
I am really wondering about this, since it seems to look different in different pictures. 🙂

I’m leaning towards sheath, but I can see how it might have a slight fit and flare look. But whatever it is, you looked absolutely gorgeous!

Haha you’re cute! I’m voted sheath but I’m not 100% that it is! I see why you’re confused. . .me too!

The dress on the designer’s website lists its silhouette as straight (which apperently is another term for sheath), but it also has a flare to it. Hence why I was so confused. However, after googling sheaths, it seems that some of them have a flare out.
LOL. Do you mean cute for asking the shape of my dress or cute looking iin the dress? 🙂 My wedding day was ruined, so it’s nice to think I at least looked nice.

I have no idea what shape it is, but your dress was beautiful! I’ve never seen one like that, and I think more people missed out by not choosing it. 🙂

You look stunning! But I’m curious, why did you block out your husbands shoes? Are they totally awesome? Or did he go barefoot?

Sorry I never replied to your question CourtneyErinWilder- I somehow missed this notification. Anyway, I blocked his shoes out because they are very distinctive and I try to be as anon as possible due to bad experiences online. 🙂
