I had the Allure Romance 2667. Lace over lay. It was so light to wear and was trumpet fit. I am 5’3″ so trumpet was the best option. I absolutely love my dress and i wish i could wear it again!! I love the bling on the front. $2200. Button from top to bottom of the train. Loved it!Sorry for the big pictures

I had two gowns: modified mermaid (Stella York 5786 which was lace over dolce satin) and a ballgown (allure bridals 9022 which was lace and english net). Both dresses were $4700 including alterations and tax (my budget was $5000).

Kenneth Winston 1544- trumpet style, satin & tulle. Lots of beading! Since this pic, i’ve had added beading going down the skirt, as well as a TON more tulle to make that skirt really POP! Original price- $1250, got it from a family friend’s bridal shop for $1100. (supposedly $100 over cost) lol

MrsHistory-Bee:  I got married in 2012. I never found “the dress of my dreams” but I found a dress I liked and tried to make it as close to my dream dress as possible.

I got allure 8919 (here are stock photos):

My alterations included removing the butt bow to see all the buttons on the back, adding a hoop skirt to change it from full a-line to a ballgown shape, and adding a beaded belt at the waist. I the dress itself for about $900, I think. I’m not sure. It’s been a while. The sash and hoopskirt cost another $150 or so. I also alternated between a lace bolero and an angora sweater the day of my wedding (bolero: ~$80, and angora sweater: ~$50). Here I am:

Recently, I saw that Allure came out with a similar dress that I’m sure would’ve been “the dress of my dreams” had it been available when I was getting married. It reminds me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast while being timeless (IMO). I have no idea what it costs. Here is Allure 9155:

Mines a satin A-line (I think). Its the complete opposite of what I thought I would go for – I was thinking lace mermaid for sure – but it was absolutely perfect for me.
