Oooh, Aspen is pretty much my dream dress since I saw it a few months ago randomly. I wondered how it would look on a real woman, and I am more sold than ever. You look fantastic!

I stalk the Jasmine’s Bridal Shop boards a lot, since it’s fun to see what custom things can be made, and some veils that I thought matched the petal-filled, whimsical parts of the dress have come up.  I tend to like cathedral length veils anyhow, but especially since Aspen has such great sleeves, I wouldn’t want the veil hitting in the same place detracting from them at all. Don’t know if these would be too much:

Sure! So, it’s called Jasmine’s Bridal Shop. It’s actually a “Chinese dress maker” but a very legitimate one with amazing reviews and prices (and with correspondents who speak fluent English). There are a LOT of threads on here with girls sharing their experiences with them, I’ll post those at the end.

From what I understand, you can go to their website or even facebook page, shoot them an email, and they’re pretty easy going about giving you a quote for what you want. I don’t think that veil is listed on their site (I’ve checked because I love it), I think it was custom requested by one of the girls on here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/jasmines-bridal-shop-china-dresses-part-ii/page/8#axzz2M0HayOh9

So here’s their website: http://www.jasminesbridalshop.com/

And facebook page, with actual examples of their work: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jasmines-Bridal-Shop/121989811259949?sk=photos_stream

And some threads here that talk about them a lot:

Also, I feel like we might have pretty similar tastes! Same dress and veil tastes for sure, anyhow. 😀

@purpleweddingday:  Your dress is beautiful.  I like the idea of using a veil with some petals on it.  I wouldn’t go too overboard with it tho, because you don;t want it to be too distracting from the details in your dress.  Something very delicate.   As far as shoes, Ill have to think about it.
