I am currently debating what to wear for shoes on my wedding day.
I can be a bit of goof and since brides are all about being beautiful (of course I am no different) but I think it might be fun to do something different under the dress. I am thinking I want to get some funky, high-heeled, converse looking, sneaker boots that I have seen around, maybe in an ivory color to match. No one would be able to see them til the garter thing so it would probably get a good laugh and I would be more comfortable than a pretty, pinchy, heel.
What are the other girls out there doing? Anyone got any goofy ideas for shoes or even better post some pictures, I would love to see what is going on out there!
I have these goofy "glass slippers" that FI always teases me about. I bought them when I played Cinderella in a play. I have HUGE feet, so I bought clear, sparkly ballet flats rather than heels to make my feet look "dainty." I think it will be a funny surprise for FI and also it will make me feel like Cinderella again. :)
These might be goofy to some people, but not to me, so for some people, I will post them. Here are my blue shoes. I can hardly wait to wear them. Your choice is very interesting and if it is a part of who you are, they won't come across as goofy.

I think whichever speaks the best of "YOU" should be your pick. I find many wedding gowns to be very similar but your shoe is what says, "this is me!" I love seeing the shoes people have chosen!
I myself will be wearing heels until the reception at which point I will change into my glittery TOMS....heart.
These are mine! Glittery flats! I think they're so feminine and they're also super comfortable. I definitely did not want to wear heels on my wedding day!
You should wear whatever shoes you like best! It's your wedding day and frankly hardly anyone will see your shoes if you're wearing a long dress anyway!
I've totally posted these like 5 times before... but I just love them so much! I'm adding crystal shoe pins to the front.

My FI is shorter than me, so I am looking for some fun flats.
TO match my girls and they are insanely comft! Rest of the evening will be my Blue Haviannas though! 
@Heatherloveskenny: Oh, those look super comfortable! I wish I could get something like those, but I need closed toe for my winter wedding...
These are mine! And my girls have yellow patent leather pumps. The wedding is in the middle of the day and my dress is tea length, theirs are knee length. If you want funky shoes, I say go for it! I contemplated keeping everyone in Converse the whole time, but I love heels too much in the end...

I am a Stiletto Queen, I love high heeled shoes! But my FI and I are the exact same height so I will be wearing flats which will ultimately be extra comfortable for me, so no worries. But, on a side note, I'm requesting for his shoes to have a little lift.

I wore Kate Spade. Low heel and comfy. I did see some *very* adorable Badgley Mischka's at Nordstrom this week.
Here are mine. They only have a slight wedge heel, so they're super comfy.
Sadly the only decent pictures I have of them are on my feet... Maybe I will try to take some better ones today. lol
I have bought a few pairs.....but i think i am going with these. They are super fun...and my colors are fuchsia & Navy.....
