Okay ladies, I would like some opinions! My wedding is going to be a country rustic theme and we are also going to be tying in some bicycles too, as my fiance and I are avid cyclists – road bikes, mountain bikes, antique cruisers, tandem bikes, just bikes!! Our wedding is going to take place on a farm and our reception will be in a barn. We haven’t yet decided how we are going to do our send-off yet – we might decide to ride off on bikes. We have already decided that the whole wedding party will be wearing brown cowboy boots. Our colors are hot pink, brown, and ivory.
Here is what we are thinking for the wedding party:
And this is what my dress looks like:
My question is, what shoes should I wear?! I already have these two pairs of boots & I’m trying to decide if I want to wear them or if I want to find something similar to these pink wedges. Opinions???

Those wedges are cute, but I would do the brown boots. I think it fits your theme, and it will be easy to walk and dance in. Sounds like a really fun wedding.

I like both ideas! Those wedges are adorable and comfy. I’ve never worn cowboy boots in my life so I can’t say yay or nay.

I’m voting for the pink wedges because I think they tie everything together and they are super cute. But the brown boots would be my second choice.

p.s. your dress is lovely 🙂

Oh my goodness, with such a pretty dress, I wouldn’t be thinking about the shoes much. I vote you wear whatever feels best and suits you on that day. After all, not many folks are going to know what’s really going on down there in the end… unless you plan on hiking up the dress to get on your horse when you and Prince Charming ride off into the sunset.

@boogiewoogies: Thank you 🙂
@LilRhodyGem: We just might do that! 🙂 FI thinks it’ll be a bit of a challenge to ride off on bikes. I’m lingering on this horse idea…

Since the common accessory tying your bridal/groomsmen party together are the brown cowboy boots, I think you should go with the brown cowboy boots. The pink wedge might actually look a little out of place next to everyone’s cowboy boots. But I can also understand wanting to tie the hot pink in too. So how about brown and hot pink cowboy boots?
Here are a couple I found:

@Shlieka: Ooo I like the Tony Lama’s in that third link! FI thinks I should wear boots too. I might end up buying a new pair after all!!
