I would suggest the bridesmaids wear nude pumps and you were blue. Dyeing to match your gown doesn’t always end up perfectly and it can look a bit off if it isn’t perfect.

The blue doesn’t necessarily have to match the bM’s dress though. I would try for that color or darker.

Nude shoes for the bridesmaids for sure! I would do a simple ivory shoe for yours! I love coloured shoes with dresses, but I would let the champagne colour of your dress shine.

I think the bridesmaids shoes depends on the time of year and how much bling you and your bridesmaids will wear.

if it’s a spring wedding probably the nude shoes. However, with a fall or winter wedding silver would work. i think most of this depends on your accessories. If you will be wearing lots of sparkle and bling 🙂 go for silver. If not, go with nude. Wouldn’t want the silver shoes to be more sparkly than you!

For your shoes, do what you would feel most beautiful in. If matching shoes fits your dream outfit, go for matching. If having a fun flash of blue fits, go with the blue.

Keep in mind that except for the mandatory shoe shots, no one is going to see your shoes, so you really can wear anything you want.

alexsquared:  Agree nude for the girls! I think nude shoes are more common in most women’s closet now a days than silver. And I will be wearing red shoes under my ivory dress so I’m of course a little partical to color! Try some things on and see what you’re comfortable in 🙂

Based on the BM dress you posted, I’m more inclined to say silver shoes for your BMs. I think it would look nicer with the light periwinkle/cornflower hues of that dress…reminds me of Cinderella’s color schemes.

If the dress were darker (like a navy), then I would say nude pumps all the way.

I’m at a loss for your shoes. If you dye your shoes to match the light blue BM dress above (which has cool undertones), I think it will look funky next to with the warmer undertones in your dress, BUT if the BMs dresses are darker, then I would be all for dying your shoes to match their dresses.

Ha! I’m all over the place, but I hope what I wrote made sense! 🙂
