    So, it's my weekend to work.  How unfortunate for me.  My 23rd birthday is Sunday so it's kind of beat.  Anyways, it's not the end of the world since I'll be working from 6:30-3.  Usually the birthday person brings in treats for everyone to enjoy.  It'll be fun to have a mini celebration at work.  I just can't figure out what to bake.  I would go the cheap route and buy something, but eh, I am very prideful in my baking and cooking.

    I'm thinking cuppycakes, but IDK.  It's a lot to carry in by myself.  Especially in the morning when I have to unlock the front door to the lobby.  Just wanted something a bit more different than a cake.

    Any suggestions?

    @oracle: Thank you!

    I guess I should've mentioned this! :P But I work in a hospital, but on the weekend it's less amount of people buzzing about.  I would say about 20 people.  This is including nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers, and myself.

    @DesireeAnne:  Do you have a favorite cookie you make?  I'd go the cookie or brownie route (for ease of picking up and little mess).... and easy transport!

    @oracle: Gah, I never thought of cookies.  I ALWAYS bake them for holidays and such.  I'm such a dope.  Hahaha.  Now I'm excited.

    I guess I'm too hungry to vote! I kept changing my mind.... They all sounded so yummy. I've never attempted cannolis, are they difficult? My instinct was to go with cupcakes...Mmmmmm, but cannolis would be very cool. :)

    @ApplePie: Hahaha.  I know.  I'll end up bringing in a bunch of treats for the entire hospital to enjoy.

    @ApplePie: I showed J the recipe and he's like "wow, I've never even heard of these before.." Oh, and thanks! :D

    So, I think cake pop and cookies are in the running now.  I'd LOVE to make the cake pops, but I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to do that tomorrow night after work for Sunday.  I mean, it's not impossible, but I'd have to go shopping then bake, cool, etc.  Gah! I wish I thought about this earlier.  Haha.

    I think your right. :( Cake pops might be a bit too much on short notice.... And I can't have any, anyway...sooo. Lol

    How about cookies, but mix it up and make a few different fun ones?

    @ApplePie: Yeah, I'm thinking I'll just make two different batches.  Quick and easy in my eyes.  Plus J likes to bake sometime too.  I'm sure he'd help out!

    It's my FI's 30th birthday today and I made him coca cola cake. I made it for him when we first started dating and he loves it and always asks for it on his birthday.
