I have a little while before my wedding– next February, but I just feel like my brain is fried! I feel like all at once there is so much to do, yet I have no idea what I should be doing in regards to organising my wedding. I picked my cake a couple of weeks ago and now I keep rethinking it and I feel super indecisive about everything!
I have the church, the reception venue, the menu, and a prelim guest list
, my dress, wedding rings, bridesmaids outfits…
But what should i do now?! is there something important I am forgetting?or should I just chill for a bit until it gets closer?
Thank you for any and all advice.

@RedFeather: Seems like you are doing great! Have you bought a book with checklists or printed one from google? Picking STD’s if you are doing them, booking vendors (photographer, DJ, Videographer, etc.) you could start getting honeymoon ideas if you are doing one.

You’re ahead of the game, and you’re probably good to rest for a bit.
I really liked the online checklist on theknot. IMO, there’s a lot of “fluff” things on it that you don’t need to bother with, but its good for giving you a broader look of what to do in the beginning. Once I set that list up, I would look at it periodicly to see what was left to do, checking things off that either I’d done already or wasn’t bothering with. Also, don’t worry about the monthly goals. I did a lot of the 8-12 month tasks in the 3-6 month range with no problems. February/off-season weddings have more leeway there.
