I have been off the pill for 3 months now. I was happy that AF came after 26 days the first month and the month after that at 24. I was really hoping that my body was starting to regulate itself. I bought some ovulation kits and we baby danced this last month. I tested myself on the night that AF was supposed to make an appeance (she always shows in the morning) and BFN. I wait until again this morning (2 days later) and still BFN. There were both cheapy tests. I am thinking of waiting a few more days to see if shes shows and if not buying a digital test. IDk what do you ladies think? I am trying not to get my hopes up.
@sarahlyn2626:A test would usually show positive by now, so it's possible you're a day or so off (stress can do that), so digital is a good plan. If in a week still no period test again and maybe schedule a blood test.
When did your OPK's come up positive? How many days has it been since you ovulated? I didn't get a BFP until about 14 DPO, so if you are still earlier than that, it might be just too early for a BFP.
@Ms Mini: Today would be 14 DPO. I am going to wait another week and see what happens. Even when I wasn't on BC I was regular this is the first time I have ever been late. It may have to do with the wedding but I have read on other blogs about people not having a positive until they are further along. I have had thyroid problems in the past but it is fine now. Not experiencing any symptoms other than headaches and feeling tired. We will see I guess...
i would just go ahead and test now. if you get a bfn but your period still hasn't arrived by the weekend, take another one :)

When I was on BC I had a 28 day cycle like clockwork every month... I came off in February and for three months I had 28 day cycles... then we started TTC... That next month I was SURE I was pregnant because at cycle day 42 I still hadn't gotten my period so I got a blood test and within an hour AF arrived =(
I'm not saying that you aren't pregnant because you may very well be... I just wanted to share my experience because even though I thought my body had regulated itself ... I was obviously wrong =( It was a cruel joke that my body played on me!
Good luck to you though! I'm now 11 weeks pregnant so it will eventually get back on track if that's you problem!

ok I couldn't wait and I had one early response test left at home...what do you think? The control line is super bright but the other side is faint lines. This our first month of trying and weren't too serious because we honestly didn't care if it didn't happen this month.
I am 16 DPO and haven't had any spotting or usual symptoms that come with AF. I have just noticed a lot of fluid similar to what I get around the time I am ovulating.
It's a bit blurry, but that totally looks positive to me. I would take another one -- maybe a digital one first thing tomorrow morning. If it's really positive, then congrats!!!

I am mistaken I am 15 DPO...I want to try to wait a few more days and take a digital. I hope I can wait ;)
When I tested I had suuuuper faint lines like you do and one very bright as well... 14 weeks later I am still pregnant.
Looks positive to me too! I second the suggestion for a digital test :)
Looks like a BFP to me!!! My first BFP the second line was super light but a digital confirmed it for me.

A faint positive is still a positive!! I would go ahead and take a digital today. if it's showing up on that test, it would probably show up on a digital as well. But that's just me... I wouldn't be able to wait!
OMG....you all were right!!
I am freaking out right now and my hubby won't be home for awhile. I know I need to call the doctor but what else is next?! Should I wait awhile to tell others in case?
@sarahlyn2626: YAY congrats! I say hold off on shouting it from the rooftops until you see the doctor but YAY! i hope you have a HAPPY and Healthy pregnacy!
I was reading as fast as I could scroll after I saw the blue line test!!!! Those lines don't show-up unless it's a BFP!!!!!! Yaaay!!! Congrats hon!! I saw call your best friend and get ready to shock your hubby. :)
I have a stupid question....Can I go to my general practicioner to confirm with a blood test or do I need to go to ob/gyn??
As far as I know, a regular doc can confirm. But girl. You are PREGNANT!!! :)

@sarahlyn2626: Just a quick thought... you might want to save the co-pay and make an appt with the ob-gyn only. The regular doc would be an unnecessary expense.
@sarahlyn2626: Yay! I knew it! I'm glad you didn't wait the extra days to confirm. Congrats!! I would call your regular doctor. Mine referred me immediately to the OB-Gyn practice associated with my medical group when I told them that I had a positive pregnancy test.
