so i have a dilemma… i have always pictured my hair down, longggg and curly on my wedding day. when i got engaged i started growing it out… anyways… fi loves my hair short, which i also more comfortable for me, and how i usually have my hair. what do i do!? chop it? or keep growing it out?
here is a pic of me with short hair and then with longer (its lighter in the pic… but i want it dark for the wedding:))

Hi date twin!
If you’ve always dreamed of having it long, I think you should grow it out! If you change your mind you can always cut it before the wedding, but you can’t take back cutting it all off now 🙂

If you feel more comfortable with short hair and your FI loves your short hair, then cut it.

I think it’s important to look like You at the wedding. So however you see yourself on the daily, I think there’s something to be said for rocking a short ‘do wedding day if that’s who you are, but if long is more your bag, then go for it.
And there’s also the extensions route- which you might want to do even if you’re growing your hair to make it even more dramatic (clip in temporary ones).

Well, if you grow it out, you have only 10 months or so. You won’t be able to grow it out THAT much, so keep that in mind. My SIL added extensions for her wedding day b/c it was super short and she wanted an updo. There are plenty of ways to dress up short hair–i’ve been to a few weddings with short hair brides. you could always wear amazing earrings or put something sparkly in your hair.

It looks great short but the longer your hair the more style options you have for the wedding day! I started growing mine out and im glad because now when i do my up-do it will have more volume!

I think you look gorgeous with short hair! 🙂 There are a lot of cute ways you could do it too! I dont think that in the time you have you will be able to grow it that much longer you could add extensions though and see how it looks and which you like better if you really do want it long

I think you look great with short hair, but if you’ve always dreamed of long hair than grow it out.

The shorter my hair has been, the happier I’ve been in life. Seriously.
Just do extensions for the wedding. 😀

I voted something else! I think you should rock it short up until the wedding, then get extensions!
I had a similar hair cut to that for all of 2008, it has taken me 20 months to get it to 4 inches above my bra strap, and my hair grows fast! The worst part of growing out my hair from that haircut is the first 10 months, it’s ugly the entire time, and you’re gonna have tons of photo ops coming up (shower, bachelorette, rehearsal dinner), and you will want to look your best for all of them!
