It is basically the first part of the Mass (the Liturgy of the Word) without the second part of the Mass (the Liturgy of the Eucharist).
Are my groom and I going to be sitting/kneeling? Are all of my guests going to be keeling/standing?
my best friend did a wedding w/o Mass in her guy's family church (Catholic). no kneeling. no point since there's no Eucharist.

PS i wouldnt call it a Catholic wedding since the Eucharist isn't a part of it.

I am getting married for the first time, as is the hubby to be. We are having a Catholic Wedding without Mass. Neither of us have been to a Catholic wedding of any kind whether it be with Mass or without. I do not know what all is included in the ceremony, what options I have, what to have my guests expect especially those non-catholic, or anything. PLEASE HELP!!
