Nice flat-fronted pants and a crisp white shirt. Simple and elegant. Maybe you could pin a flower/boutonniere to the shirt to fancy it up a little. No tie. Ties without jackets are dreadful!
What color pants? He has nice khaki colored ones or nice black ones. Shirt tucked all the way in? Belt? There's this really nice Calvin Kline shirt I saw yesterday at Macy's that's white with faint blue stripes and it has adjustable button cuffs. I thought that maybe he could roll them up when we're done with the ceremony so he doesn't get too hot.
As for pants, I guess it depends on how dressy you want him to look. Black pants and a white shirt (or white with light blue stripes) will look dressier than the same shirt with a pair of khaki or tan pants. Either would look great.
I think black pants and a white shirt would look nice with your dress. If you want him to dress up a little more for pics, a tie with silver accents, like your dress would be neat.
I would go for nice khaki's and a white shirt!

We're getting married in Vegas next month in an outdoor early evening ceremony. I am going to wear the dress below. The skirt part of the dress has silver and gold glittery criss-crossed lines. But I have no idea what my FI is supposed to wear. We went shopping yesterday but nothing looked right. We plan on going to dinner and dancing afterwards so I don't want him to be too hot or uncomfortable either. Any ideas?
