What color is your dress? If you want a light color, you could use the color of your dress if it's white or ivory or champaign or something like that.
I agree with Azula. You need a lighter color like a champagne, silver, or even a gold.
I love the idea of accenting with a silver color. You mentioned gold above though so not sure if the silver would go...you could accent with gold. :) You do need to do a lighter color, it will really make everything pop.
I would take a light color as 3rd color, so it won't get too dark.
I think gold would be a lovely accent color with those two as your main colors...So pretty!
Here are a couple "themes" or "looks" you could go for by adding different third colors...
Dusk in the city: magenta
High-contrast high-color: golden yellow
Sophisticate chill: platinum or matte silver
Whimsical and sexy: hot pink

Hello Ladies!
So i have finally decided on two colors i really like. One is the
Horizon blue

and the other is
regency purple

The colors look a lot different in person. THe best way i can describe the, is a dark purple and royal blue.
I cant decide on what color to add to it. Like a light color. Should i even add another color?? MY main color will be the blue. With a little purple. I just need a color for the ribbons of the BD bouquets. My venue has kinda brown walls, and the lamps/ chandeliers are like a gold color. It will be at a golf course in the evening.
