My fiance and I are having our rehearsal dinner at a winery. We are not having a traditional sit down, plated dinner. There will be wine tasting stations and several hot and cold hors d’oeuvres. There will be cocktail tables set up both inside and outside on the deck. I think of this as like an extended roving cocktail hour, but what should I call it? I won’t want to be misleading by inviting people to our “dinner”… Thanks!!

Hmmm, how about…
Rehearsal Social – Rehearsal Meet & Greet – Rehearsal Cocktail Party ???
I think any of them would fit.
Hope this helps,

I like rehearsal cocktail party or rehearsal cocktail hour (if it really is just an hour).

@This Time Round: @RunnerBride13: Thanks – I like Rehearsal Cocktail Party! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. It is really 3 hours (4-7pm) so I don’t think I can get away with cocktial hour.

@Sea_Ashley: Then “party” for sure! That’s a great idea! We are doing pizza to save money, but appetizers would have been a good idea too 🙂

@Sea_Ashley: Is this event limited to those who will be at the actual rehearsal? If not, you could just call it a “Cocktail Party in honor of Ashley & FI”.
