We have two friends - a married couple - who will hand out programs at the wedding. This couple has been more supportive of our wedding than most of my family and most of our wedding party.
We want to acknowledge them on our wedding program but what do we "call" them?
Usher doesn't fit - they aren't escorting anyone to be seated.
Honorary doesn't fit - they will be attending. Or does it fit?... if you call someone honorary does that mean they aren't present? Is "honorary groomsman" correct?
Thank you for reading my question.
All my best, Suza
