Our dogs as flower girls/”flower pups” :-p

We have two Boston Terriers and we aren’t doing bridesmaids or groomsman…so we are planning on the dogs taking center-stage 🙂

I’m going to be making little collars and tutus for them to wear 😡

I may or may not have just spent $50 on a matching gingham print bow tie and suspenders for our ring bearer….

Nacho bar for the late night crowd.  FI really wanted a wing bar but the nacho bar is cheaper.  He will have secret wings back in our room for later in the evening.

Pyrotechnics for our first dance.

Yeah that is SO not happening in any way shape or form, because 1) We don’t have the money for it and 2) It’s happening in a tent so even those smaller sparkler cannons could be a catastrpohe.

But still. There’s the perfect place in our song… cccrrreeesssccceeennnDDDOOOOOO of music and WHOOOOSH!!! Pyrotechnics!!!

Ahhhh.

I want a bonfire/clambake type situation but (1) open fires are not allowed anywhere on my DW island and (2) I don’t know when I could even pull off such a thing between the welcome party on Thursday, the Rehearsal dinner AND b-parties on Friday and the wedding on Saturday and the farewell brunch on Sunday.

My rehearsal dinner venue is giving me problems and I often fantasize about ripping up the contract and doing the (fully catered) bonfire on the beach that night instead.

S’mores bar for the late night crowd.  We’re getting married on my parents’ farm & will have a bonfire or fire pit for sure so I think it would be a cute idea!

@Sunnyday278:  I love it!  Pyro brides unite!  We’re definitely having fire dancers – if my dress won’t burn I will be twirling fire myself – and I’m going to make a quick drive to one of our neighboring states with more “relaxed” firework regulations to buy a ton of sparklers.  Mwahaha…

Photobooth.  Unnecessary, but we want one.

@StL.Ashley:  My cat was in my first wedding, 11 years ago. I put angel wings on him and put him in a basket with tulle over the top. My bridemaid held him and someone else took him home after the ceremony.

I spent $40 on brown paisley-pattern handkerchiefs which will be our napkins on the tables.  Our venue has perfectly nice off-white linen napkins… nope. I want handkerchiefs.  I know there are more, but that was the immediate thing that came to mind.

I would love to have my cat in the wedding! Haha one of the biggest (ok, the only) reasons I want to get ready at my house instead of a hotel is so I can have my photographer take pictures of me with my kitty.
