Whatever size it is that is making you worry it’s not big enough on your finger.
0.4? hard to say without knowing the finger size.
Its not me and not a worry i am shopping rings and am getting ideas. I like this cut and wondered. This ring size is a 7.
@BWLE is that a nice comment or a mean kne? Cause size isnt what I am after. i was wondering what size this was because it didnt seem too big or too small. I am shopping rings to get ideas for my bf and he has a buget. Hence asking about the size.
lolee82: it wasn’t meant as mean or nice, just a statement. ill apologize tho because there are a million posts on here asking what size people think their rings are because they hope they look bigger than they really are (insecure their ring isint “big enough”) And that’s what I assumed your post was about.
If you are looking to get ideas on what size rings look like for your finger size try searching the boards for size seven rings. It will really help you get an idea of what different shapes and sizes look like. That’s easier than picking a random picture and asking what size people think it is, as we don’t know the finger size and only see the close up shot.
Sorry to be so blunt @BLWE and thanks for the help. i will def do that! i am still mew here and learning the ropes!
LilRhodyGem i havent ventured out yet. i am a perpetual researcher and tend to try and gather all i can then go out and physically do things. But that would be a great idea And I eull def do that when I go out and try them on!
1/2 carat maybe
I’d guess .8 all the way up to a carat. Emerald cuts always looks smaller than their carat weight in my opinion. I wanted emerald until I saw what a 1 carat looked like, and it was disappointing.
I would guess it’s close to 1 carat. I see so many people saying emerald cuts are smaller than other cuts (?) That has never been my experience.
It’s an amazing ring (and stone) – I think if you understand that emerald cuts flash light rather than sparkle. I love them and would pick the ring you’ve posted in a heartbeat!
There is a website that someone posted that shows you different sizes of stones on different finger sizes. This might be helpful too in determining what size you are looking for. Sorry I don’t know what the website is but it is in one of recent threds. Either way, that ring you are looking at is beautiful!
