What size is your finger?
Has it always been this size? Do you get it resized in the summer and winter as hands get warmer = larger/ colder = smaller.
My rings get looser in the winter but never to the point that they'd need resizing!
My ring size is 7. I have never had to have any of my rings resized & I have been a size 7 since I Started wearing rings around 12 years old.
I wear an 8. I used to wear a 7 but I gained weight after I turned 25... hope by the wedding my rings are a size 7 again ;) lol
I've always been between an L and an M (5.5-6) but currently L-L1/2.
3.75, but I had to go up to a 4.5 when I added the wedding band because it took up a bunch of extra space on my finger.
My rings get a little looser in the winter, but not enough that I have to have them resized.
I wear a size 6. It does get a little loose in the winter, but I just be a little more careful with it as it's not enough to get it resized. If it does get too loose, I'd probably think about a spacer.
Left hand is size 5 and right hand is size 5.5. My fingers do tend to swell in the summer, but I have not gotten mine resized. Usually it isn't that uncomfortable.
I have a size 9 ring that barely stays on now , I think I may have lost a little weight. Now I'd say it's a size 8.
I wear a 4, it's usually loose but there's no way I'm getting anything smaller over my knuckles. not comfortably. funny how the voting average is 5-5.5 right now, I thought nation-wide average was 6-7? I wonder if different ethnicities would also tend to have different finger size averages. the SO has size 6.75 fingers, which I understand to be pretty slim on a guy. we're both asian though, and many of my asian friends also seem to have long thin fingers.
Currently I'm between a 7.5 and an 8. Gained weight recently and some settled in my hands (usually I'm between a 7 and 7.5). Lost a lot of weight once and went down to a 6, but it was during a difficult time and was way too much weight loss. I'm assuming a 6 is the smallest my fingers could get due to this
4 in the winter, 4.5 in the summer. My ring is 4.5 and i just put a sizer on for winters.
4.75. Winter or summer does not matter because I have big knuckles so no fear of them falling off. :)
My ring is a size 4 but I had to get sizing balls inserted into the inside of the band so that the fit is more snug and it won't turn around on my finger. I don't really notice the change in my finger size in different seasons. Maybe the sizing balls have something to do with that...?

I'm a size 6, but when it's cold my ring seems looser, and if I lose much more weight I am gonna have to have it sized down to a 5 1/2.
I'm about a 4.
Why, if so many of us have small fingers, do standard rings not come smaller than a 6? Kate Spade, I'm looking at you!
I would love a right hand ring from her but I hate the idea of having to pay to have it resized when it's not a super fancy ring. Grumble.
5.25 but looking into sizing beads for the winter since it keeps spinning around every 2 seconds!
My ring finger is a 3.5 and my ring is still too big in cold weather. I have tiny hands I guess.
Mine is a 4, but now that the weather is getting cold it's starting to spin. This is my first winter with my e-ring (got engaged 3/2/11). My wedding is 12/31 so maybe having my band on will keep my e-ring from spinning. If not I may get the balls put in it!
Mine is 5 1/2 . My FI gAve me a 7 which was huge in my finger but I got it resized to a 5 3/4 even tho the jewelry lady insisted I got it at 5 1/2 . But I felt that was too much of a perfect fit. It does get loose when I'm cold but I rather have it like that than on too tight
Eh. My option wasn't up there. :) 4.5 when cold and 5 when warm. And it changes almost hourly. :)
6.5, I think. I've been losing weight so it's getting looser. I may have to resize it before the wedding. It's a beautiful ring, but top heavy... it's starts to sometimes turn and fall down facing the inside of my hand.
I wear a 4 and it's definitely a little loose and used to spin quite a bit. Getting my 2 wedding bands soldered on seemed help with that. I can't get sized lower cuz my knuckle is big and it takes a lot of effort to get the ring over it now. I only take it off to have it cleaned and it takes forever to get off, I wear it to sleep, in the shower, all the time. I'm nortorious for losing jewelry so even if it came off easier I'd probably prefer to keep it on all the time.
4.25 and a 4 in the winters. It gets a little loose, but I never worry about them falling off. It's a little more secure with my wedding band now this winter than it was by itself last winter.
Mine is a size 7 but when I was 20 and 60 pounds lighter it was a size 5. (I'm 42)
I am between a 6 and 6.5 depending on the weather. I must have been the same size since at least college because I just found an old ring I got on my 18th bday and it fits pretty well (maybe a little big).
Mine's 6.5, it does shrimk up in colder weather... It does get loose, sometimes I slip it on another finger if it gets too bad, but usually that is not for very long and I need to wait for a minute for my fingers to warm up a little.
I'm a size 7 that's a tad loose when it's cold, and fits just right during hotter summer months. I was really surprised to see that the majority of bees have size 4-6 fingers. That seems so tiny to me!
I'm left-handed and my ring size is a 7. My right hand measures a 6.5 (funny) - lucky for me I have never paid to have a ring sized. Rings usually come in size 7's, so I've worn my engagement ring as-is since I picked it out at the store :)
My e-ring is a 5.25. I never noticed until I got engaged (b/c I was never a ring-wearing person) but my hands swell considerably even over the course of a day. So in the morning it might fit, in the afternoon it'll be pretty snug, and then at night it'll be practically falling off. I considering getting the sizing balls but nothing's come of that so far.
I'm going to be the nerdy one and point out the almost perfect bell curve your poll created.
My finger is a size 6, and yes, fingers shrink probably a have size when it's cold..although I'm not engaged yet so not that it has created a problem yet ;)
@BayStateBride: wow i have never heard of sizing balls before. that sounds like a great idea! the ring is gorgeous too.
My ring finger is a 4.75 on my left hand (swells to almost a 5 in the heat/morning and shrinks to about a 4.5 in the cold weather). The opposite hand is size 5. It could have something to do with the fact that I've always, always worn rings on my wedding finger? We had a hard time figuring out my exact size at the jewelers.
