You know what they say about a man with big hands....
What size ring do you have to buy for your sweet man?
My Mr. has 10.5 size ring finger. Not sure if thats big or small....
No idea. He'll have to get his finger sized come time to get a wedding band. He's a big guy too so I'm sure it will be a pretty big size.
My guy has an 11.5. He works with his hands and has big muscles ;) hehe!
I think I'm going to win the smallest here.
My husband's is *drumroll*
5.5!
And don't listen to the big hands thing
I have no idea what his actual size is since he got his wedding band WAY too big and he has a bad habit of dropping it! So far he has dropped it in the airport on our honeymoon, in a bar, at church, not to mention the numerous times at home! Church is where we actually thought he had lost it - but it must have rolled far because someone had already turned it into the lost and found by the time the service ended!
he is a size 11...and he has pretty big hands...i think a size 10 is slightly larger than average
I think it's a 9.5-10. I was pretty surprised because he's a big guy and I thought he would be a 12 or something.
Ok my hubby has the biggest ring size so far!!! Hes a 12.5! It was very difficult for him to pick out his ring because most stores didnt carry anything about an 11 so he couldnt try on alot. The thing is, he has thick fingers but hes not a big guy!
My hubs got fitted at our jeweler as a size 10 but INSISTED that he didn't want his ring too tight. So he MADE me order him an 11.5!!!! During our first week married, it fell off all the time (@August15Bride: I feel ya!!). So I bought him a new ring in the correct, size 10!
P.S. We have a friend whose ring is SO big he can easily pass a quarter through it and roll it around in there!
Hubby's ring is a 7, but his size is probably closer to 6.75. 6 1/2 is too tight when his fingers swell. It's techinally still a woman's size so that made buying a ring online slightly more difficult lol
I think FI's ring is a 7, we think. We've forgotten in the 3 months since we ordered it and then put it away for the wedding. I am the one with gianty fingers in this relationship- 9 e-ring, 9.5 wedding band!
His is an 11.5. I posted earlier in the board regarding my own ring size and mentioned that because my fingers were so small, we saved quite a bit of money on my band (which required less diamonds), but guess where we ended up spending it? Yup, on his band. That thing weighs a ton!
I think a 9 is supposed to be the average.
My hubby wears a size 8.5. Pretty average I guess... He's 5'10 and medium, muscular build...
last time I checked, I think its an 8...but I'll have to get back with you on that one ;)
Ok girls I think I'm going to make you all jealous...my fiance wears a size 14 ring. Oh and its true what they say about big hands
FI is a 7, at 6' tall...he't got such slender fingers.
gonna disagree with the whole big hands, big... thing. ;)
DF is a size 11, which he says is small for his size (he is 6'8")
My fiance has a 10.5 too. Most rings in jewelry stores are in a 10 and the jeweler we're using said 10.5 is considered the edge of normal. So I'd think an 11 and up is considered "big".
his is either a 12.5 or 13.....
and it only really stinks b/c no one carries that size in the stores so he has to try rings on his pinky finger and hope for the best
i was surprised w my FH... he is 5'7/ 5'8ish and about 160 and wears a 9.25. i thought it would be smaller cuz hes not a tall guy.
My husband wears a 7 1/4. Even though he's tall (6'4) he's way slim and has long, thin fingers. He's a bit of a bean pole, but in a good way.
With the Blue Nile sizer, my FI's ring size is a 9. It goes smoothly over the knuckles, but isn't too tight. So it is just right!
9.5, although that is to get over his big knuckles. Once it is over the knuckle it spins. Annoying! lol
I think he was something like a 10.5 or 11 when he got sized, but FI ended up buying a ring from a fancy jewelry designer, and said fancy designer seems to have his own sizing scheme that does not correspond at all with normal ring sizes. Oh well...
My guy's a 9...we tried him a couple summers ago and they said he was a 10, so I bought him his engagement ring in a 10 and it is too big! Oh well. The wedding band will fit properly, I hope!
FH's is a 9.5 - and it fits perfectly! He decided he wanted a thicker, rounded ring though - so that sucker is HEAVY!!
