I tried on Pronovias Galante at Bridal salon. I was a size 10 and kinda huge (needed lots of clips up the back). I am thinking of ordering online and I am not sure if I should order the 8 or 10? My normal size is 7-8…I dont want to order the 10 and not be able to size it down correctly…or is that how it is done?

Do they have a list of the measurements at the bridal salon? I had to order a size 10 dress and I’m a 4/6 so it really depends on the designer.

Do they have any way to size you? Measurement charts or even another dress by the same designer? I fit in evrything from a size 8 to a size 14 depending on the dress.

Your bridal salon should have been able to recommend the correct size for your measurements. Normally they will choose the dress that fits the largest part of your body. (That way they know that it will fit you properly.) They can then fit the rest of the gown to your measurements through alterations. If they can’t give you measurements that you think are going to be appropriate, then I’d find another bridal salon that carries that dress!

I’d be careful because I think salons tend to recommend a size up. If you tried on 10 and it had over an inch spare fabric on all parts of your body – I’d order a size down.
