I’m ordering this stack from etsy..my ering is a size 5 but it gets tighter the more rings I have on. What size should I get for a stack? Also, is your right hand ring finger bigger than your left? If so, how much?

My right hand ring finger is the same size as my left, but that is not true for many people. You would have to be sized or try your ER on your right hand to determine if the same size will fit. And I generally go up 1/2 size when the rings will total more than 4 mm. It isn’t necessary; I can still remove them if they are all sized my finger size. But they are more difficult to remove together instead of one by one when they are fit exactly to my finger. A jeweler ought to have thick bands for you to try to see what sizing you find most comfortable in thicker and/or stacking bands.
By the way, those are beautiful stacking rings!

msformaldehyde: That’s a pretty stack, do you mind sharing who the etsy seller is? I’ve also been looking for stacking rings.
My right hand ring finger is a quarter size bigger than my left. I can wear the same rings on it, the fit is just a bit tighter. And with a thick stack, I would go up a quarter size. So for example, if I’m going to wear a stack on my right hand that is twice as wide as my engagement ring, I would go up a half size.

caritas: Etsy seller is homegrownsilverandstone. The set was $34.00….so it’s a cheapie but still so cute! I have a discount code it’s HAPPYSATURDAY for 10% off 🙂

I know I am late for this, but my jewlery had me go up a 1/2 size for all of my stackables, otherwise they get really tight. I am glad I did becuase my fingers have swolen up a few times and it was tough getting them off even with the size increase. but I have bigger fingers I wear a szie 9.5

msformaldehyde: my right hand is half a size bigger than my left hand ring finger. Obviously due to being right handed the muscles are more developed and so larger

For every 2mm I increase in band width, I go up .25-.5 size. So one 2mm ring is a 6, but that ring and 2 bands I prefer them all to be a 7. If I want to stack 4 rings, I like them all to be 7.25 or 7.5.

My right hand stack is a size 9, while my left ring finger is a size 7. I think the size difference is because #1 I’m right handed and #2 I was a massage therapist for 8 years. Although that sounds like a huge difference it’s not noticiable to the eye.
