So Blue Nile has a sale on select wedding bands for 50% off. I’m tempted to purchase one, but the two that I like are 2.2 mm and 2.3mm. My engagement ring is a 1.7 mm or 1.8mm cushion cut halo ring, so I don’t know if it will look weird if the wedding band is thicker than my ering. Is the size difference between 1.8mm and 2.2 or 2.3mm that noticeable? Does anyone have any pictures of thin erings with a thicker wedding band?

I actually like it when the rings are different but still go. And especially when the wedding band is bigger. Mine is sort of opposite of yours. My engagement ring band is around 2.5mm I think. And my wedding band is 1.4mm, I think.

I think it would look fine! My rings are all different widths. My ering is 2.25mm at the top and tapers to 2mm, the rose gold band is 1.7mm, and the art deco band is 2.1mm. I don’t think it looks bad at all when the bands arnt the exact same width. It’s actually more common to have a wedding band that’s thicker than the engagement ring, alot of people want their sets like that.

I think the difference between 1.8 and 2.2 won’t be enough to throw off the balance of the two rings. It will look nice!
