Btw, the non-lace material feels like what those Pajama Jeans are made of. It kinda looks like black or grey denim, but it's soft and stretchy.
@Eva Peron: That was my first thought! But is it weird to mix denims? The top isn't actually denim, but kinda looks like denim. ???
oh yea good point! haha I just realized that. I'd do a faded deinm if you have one and you still wanna go that route.
Its before labor day, do you have any white flowy skirts or a tan shade range one?
I would wear a high-waisted black pencil skirt with the top tucked in.
I would avoid a denim skirt, IMO, because the blue-on-blue look doesn't really work for me. I would personally wear a black skirt of some type.
Is a black non tight pencil skirt okay? That's tough with the denim and lace in it. Do you have any other tops?! Maybe we can throw out lots of ideas : )
@Eva Peron: Actually, yeah! And, it would look cute with pearls, wouldn't it? I'm leaning towards the tan, but I'll have to try it on, and see which I like better.
@brideatbeach & MademoiselleLHa! Same thought. Gotta love the good old black skirt, it comes in so handy.
A pencil skirt. Black would work but if you want to brighten things up and since it is summer you could wear a white pencil skirt as well.
@2ndtime: I love pencil skirts, and I have one in a blackish grey close to the same color. But yeah, that's what I was thinking, brighten things up a bit! Maybe a bright necklace! Or would that be too much up top?
I immediately thought dark, with pleats. Don't ask... just what I thought.
Okay, here are some options. I really like that last necklace, I think it goes really well. But what do y'all think? (Note, I will get rid of the wrinkles! I just hate ironing!)
I'd pair it with the grey skirt in the second picture, personally, and then add fun accessories to brighten it up.

I like tan cause it dresses it up, but for a more summery feel I like the white :)
I like the second skirt you posted, as long as you tuck the shirt into the skirt and I love the necklace you have in the last photo

I need to wear a skirt to a meeting, and I want to wear this top. It needs to be kinda dressy-casual, and something nice enough for church. I have a few ideas, but I would love to see others' suggestions. The Bees give such great advice! Thanks!
