What slip to wear?

summery08:  I purchased the David’s Bridal fit and flare slip when I got my dress, but after trying it on again at home, I realized that the crinoline was scratching the tops of my feet and it made the dress feel and look a little bulkier, so I returned it.

I’m going to ask my seamstress if she can just add extra crinoline to the bottom of the dress, but if not, I’ve heard good things about this slip from lightinthebox.com and is inexpensive – http://www.lightinthebox.com/Nylon—Tulle-Floor-length-Wedding-Petticoats–0061-3-_p155989.html

Yep, you need a one-hoop petticoat.

I had tulle sewn directly into my dress – I didn’t want the added layers of a petticoat, just the “poof” of the tulle. Perhaps that would work for you, too? Talk to the person doing your alterations.
