Hi!  We have a low to mid budget and are planning from out of state.  We're using:

    • Venue and caterer and cake: Pacific Palms Resort.  It's also the site for our wedding ceremony.  It's a beautiful setting on a hilltop overlooking the city.  Our ballroom has floor to ceiling windows that also overlook the city.  If you're looking for Chinese food, they're one of the few non-Chinese restaurant wedding venues that serves Chinese.  They also have a Western menu. So far, they've just been okay to work with.
    • Photographer:  Brian Khang, www.briankhang.com.  He's really friendly and captures emotion beautifully.  We got our engagement photos done and loved them!  We're looking forward to getting our wedding photos done with him.
    • Dress: Monique Lhuillier, got it on sale off the rack from Yolanda's in Waltham, MA
    • Shoes: BCBG, got it on sale.
    • BM Dress: JCrew, also got them on sale online.
    • Invitations:my friend Kate is a professional illustrator and designed our invitations for us based on what I wanted our "theme" to be.  www.katetwilliamson.com  She's really talented and does beautiful work.  She also designed our save-the-dates.
