This was an interesting dilemma for us. We're having a live bluegrass band for the ceremony and cocktail hour, so Pachelbel's Canon in D was out for us! Our before the ceremony music will be instrumental versions of Danny Boy, Echo Mountain, Aragon Mill & Bury me Beneath the Willows. It will be "Whispering Pines" for the Bridal party entrance, The Wedding Song (by Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul, & Mary) and my FAVORITE Dolly Parton/Porter Wagoner song, Before I Met You for the recessional. If you don't know this version, you are indeed missing out. Here's a link for anyone who wants an awesome American classic by the greatest hair twosome in folk. ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65o9GC_hOLE
