We have gone over this a thousand times and we still cant figure out what song were going with..I really like the song by Des'ree Kissing you or the Beyonce version
Just wondering what every one else is going with>?

I think its At last tho by etta james. A strong contendor.
We're starting with "Everything I Do, I Do It For You" by Bryan Adams, and then fading into whatever song FI wants halfway through (with the understanding that he's going to pick something appropriate for a first dance).
I wanted to do at last by etta james but our friends that got married a few years ago used that song also ;(
@lemondrop - I'm in love with that song (and DMB) but FI shot me down so we are playing it while people are waiting for the ceremony to start.
@damaskqueen - I'm kissing you is my entrance song!
I'm letting the FI choose our song and he wants some old school like Sinatra or Louie Armstrong.

We haven't decided for sure yet, but FI has always liked the song "Can't Help Falling in Love With You" by Elvis, even before we realized we were getting married on Elvis's birthday lol. So we will probably use it!
We are using "When I Said I Do" by Clint Black and his wife Lisa Hartman
We went through a few choices but ultimately loved this one! The lyrics and song just makes my heart melt :)
"Oh" by dave matthews band. It's really short AND peppy vs. draggy.
haven't finalized, but our number 1 choice right now is the slow, piano version of "until you" - dave barnes :)
We used Can't Help Falling in Love with You by Elvis. Nice and short. I couldn't use any of 'our songs' because I would have been a bawling mess.
We're dancing to "someone like you" by van morrison. but i love the song "you and me" by dave matthews. i'll have to see if i can add that song into the night somehow!
We are torn between:
Faith Hill: That's how Love Moves
Babyface: Everytime I close my eyes
Bryan Adams: Everything I do (though this might be out because it's like an 8 minute song..and I don't think we want to be up there that long...)
Still haven't decided but we're also leaning towards "You and Me" by Dave Matthews Band. One of our first dates was a DMB concert and the lyrics to that particular song are perfect for us.
Are other brides that are doing this song shortening it somehow? The length is my one issue.
We are doing Plain White T's, 1234. We both love the Plain White T's and my FI will always leave me three of everything, whether it's flowers, etc. One for I one for love and the other for you. Silly I know, but I love it :)

We are 100% set on Man and Wife by Michelle Featherstone. Absolutely beautiful. I heard it while watching a wedding video on a website. I never thought he'd like it b/c it is slow and sappy, but he's the one who actually said this is perfect.
We're going with "Thank You" from Led Zeppelin but I have to cut down the length because that song is really long.
We're dancing to "The Night Will Go As Follows" by The Spill Canvas. It is a really long song (we're talking just over 5 minutes!), but it is SO.PERFECT. and is essentially our song. We're going to invite everyone to join us half way through, which seems a bit more comfortable to me than being the center of attention for so long!
We're using Stay with You by John Legend. However we've gone through some other choices before such as The Luckiest by Ben Folds, and The Way I am by Ingrid Michelson. So we'll see if this choice sticks!
We used "We are Man and Wife" by Michelle Featherstone. We almost went with Sade "By Your Side," but decided the other was a bit better and made sure the Sade song was played later in our reception. Such lovely songs, I love hearing them now even more because they remind me of those special wedding moments.
Word to the Wise...Do Not let your FH pick out the first song on his own. I ended up with Journey's Faithfully. OMG, I danced to that at prom, now I have to do it at my Wedding 20 years later. SIGH..........
I guess we are are kind of old school or should i say very original but we are dancing to "Amazed" Lonestar.. We even learned a super nice dance to it.. This song has a special memory for us so we had to use it :)
i'm walking down the aisle to edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros "home" its fast and i want something happy, otherwise i will cry. I will probably cry anyway but that song makes me want to walk down an aisle :)
@tksjewelry - you have me laughing so hard! I LOVE Journey (I'm trying to convince FI that we can play "Don't Stop Believing" at least 2 times during the reception)... but I don't think I could get through Faithfully as a first dance song without playing the air drums and singing along. Too funny : )
@tynabee, that was our second choice. That is such a goregous song~!!
