My husband and his Mom danced to “In My Life” by the Beatles – it was beautiful and very fitting. Some other options that we talked about were “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole and “Find Your Wings” by Mark Harris. My number one choice for them was Bob Dylan’s version of “Forever Young” – such amazing lyrics, but husband just couldn’t get with it. Hope this helps! Good luck and Congratulations!
My *almost husband*! and his mom are dancing to "The Perfect Fan" by the Backstreet Boys. I know... boy band. But it's actually a really great song and it doesn't sound too boy band-ish!!

@hesspm: I really like that Dylan song! It has a book that was illistrated to go with it too, which would be perfect since my FMIL is a Reading Teacher. I hope he likes it. Thanks for the ideas ladies...keep em coming :)
My fiance wants to dance to "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd but wants it to be the acoustic version by Shinedown. I personally love the song and think it suits the situation.

I think I need to step in and help my FI find a song to dance with his mother to. She mentioned how she thought he should chose vs her, but he's so indecisive he needs some options. I think it should be something sentimental, but not country (I like it, he doesn't, tough I know!). His mom is an incredible woman and I really want to help him find a song that shows her true gratitude.
Any suggestions? What are your future hubbies dancing with their mothers to?
