We actually had each set of people walk in to different songs that represented them. For instance I had a bridesman so we had a groomsman and him introduced together to "It's Raining Men". The GM actually carried my bridesman in LOL. I think it should be personal.
@sorrycharlie: We all entered (wedding party first, then my husband & I) to Doctorin' the Tardis by The Timelords/KLF. We're huge Doctor Who fans & my penchant for 70s Glam Rock was taken care of with the Gary Glitter component of the song - lol.
thanks for the replies! I'm currently thinking give me everything (tonight) by pitbull, ne-yo etc..still welcoming ideas though!
Kind of out of style, but I still love I Gotta Feelin' by the Black Eyed Peas!
Or we've considered the country song These are My People.
I saw one where they used Queen's We Will Rock You...it was fun :)
@sorrycharlie: I love Queen! I think their song "Don't Stop Me Now" would be really fitting for this too!
We are doing "Another One Bites the Dust" haha we have been together 11 years now so our families will find this funny. a close second was u2 beautiful day...another one bites the dust has a better beat!

i think sunshine of your love by cream is what i would pick. im a big ol' hippy at heart lol!
@pinkandsparkly: We're doing Crazy Train for our bridal party too! How fitting
Fi loves the movie Top Gun, so they're walking in to "Highway to the Danger Zone". He couldn't be more excited. :) (I said I would NOT walk into that- I don't want our marriage to be a danger zone, haha!)
I think we are doing "Raise Your Glass' by Pink. It has a great beat and is such a fun song!
Love all these ideas for some reason this is one thing that I am really struggling with deciding.
Our bridal party walked into the theme from the A-team, since they were our A-team. ;0)
We walked into 'Friday I'm in Love' by The Cure, since we were married on a Friday.
Our party walked into the theme song from True Blood, totally inappropiate? Probalby, but the look on their faces as the song started was utterly priceless since they all watch/love True Blood!!
"Forever" - Chris Brown!
I wanted the DJ to play it so me and my mom could dance to it (youtube video made us go crazy, so we love it now). But when I mentioned it, my FI wanted it to be the Intro as well! It was better than the "I've Got A Feeling" that we were going to walk out to...
Regulate - Warren G. (This old Wikipedia page is priceless.)
My grandparents definitely didn't get it, but everyone else thought it was fun!
@ sorrycharlie: This is so funny!! I love this song so much ever since I heard it I knew it would be the song for the entrance of my bridal party! And then I saw this thread! I think its great that other bees want to use it as well!
@sorrycharlie i like the idea of "give me everything tonight" I was thinking that when I heard it on the radio..but it will probably not work for me cuz my wedding is a year away. but for your date it def works!!
Our bridal party walked in with Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get It Started." They did a dance once they were all named. My husband and I had no idea they planned that. Also, the song really set the party tone of the night. We had a rockin' wedding reception!
Tweezer Reprise by Phish. It doesn't have too many lyrics (so the song doesn't "compete" with the DJ's announcements) and it has a great build up that should stir our crowd up. :)
I can't even sit down when I listen to that song...and we have great memories of times with our friends associated with the song.
we did "Let it Rock" by Kevin Rudolf. For some reason this song always gets me pumped and it for sure did at our reception!
@mousegirl: I totally wanted to get married on a Friday so I could use that as my theme song :(
I really want to use the Friends theme song (I'll be there for youuuuu!!)
Anyone who knows me knows I know every episode by heart =)
@sorrycharlie: IDK if I have the huevos to play that one but I LOVEEEEE that song! I always jam out haha :) do ittt!
For my sister's wedding we were introduced to "Say Hey (I Love You)" -- such a fun song! Totally reminds me of her wedding whenever I hear it.
My bridal party entered to "Ants Marching" by Dave Matthews. My husband I love Dave, and we were kind of down to the last minute to decide...(oops, we completely forgot until meeting with the DJ the day before that we needed an entrance song!!)

This is a spin-off of my recent thread. I have scoured wedding bee but most of the posts are older, and there are so many new, fun songs out there now!
What did, or are, your bridesmaids and groomsmen entering your reception to?
