I am having my Future Sister-In-Law sing a song during my wedding ceremony (not the prelude or processional, but during the actual ceremony) and am having a lot of trouble deciding on what song for her to sing. I’d like it to be pretty contemporary. I was thinking possibly “feels like home” by chantal kreviazuk. But i am not sure because I also don’t really know where to have her sing during the ceremony, because we are not doing any sort of unity candle lighting or sand ceremony. Has anyone had someone sing sing during their ceremony? What song?? Please help!

One of my close friends had someone sing with an acoustic guitar while she was going down the aisle. The song she had them sing was “You and I” by Ingrid Michaelson. Would you consider walking down the aisle with her singing?

@Firefliesflash: That song is very pretty! I have thought about her singing while i walk down the aisle, but I think i want to walk down to something that is just instrumental.

Our vocalist sang Adele’s cover of “Make you Feel My Love” and it was simple and beautiful. Both of the songs above are lovely as well!

@lkenngott: I love this song! Maybe right before the actual vows let her sing?
