We are not huge country music fans, so alot of those artists, Bob Dylan, any pop star/group that is under the age of 21 (no 1 Direction, Miley, etc.) and my fiance hates Bruce Springstein.  Those were placed on our do not play list.

Absolutely no line type dances (I think that’s what they are called… Like electric slide..chicken, etc.)

Our wedding party walked into Pantera’s “Walk” (just the beginning music, no lyrics)

We put Creed and Nickleback on our do not play list. I said that we don’t like country very much, but I recognize that others do, so a few sprinkled in will be just fine.

The wedding party will be entering into I Believe in a Thing Call Love by The Darkness. Super excited!

We put the Chicken Dance on our do not play list, but apprently MIL couldn’t have fun without it and the DJ caved.  I went out and danced to it with a smile, but was really annoyed in the moment.  There were no kids at the wedding, this was not for their benefit.

– Anything by or with 2 Chainz

– Anything by or with Future

– Anything by or with Nicki Minaj

– “Fine China” by Chris Brown

– “Let’s Get Married” by Jagged Edge

I tried to think of anything that would give me an instant sad face

The only song on our do not play list was the Chicken Dance.  I just hate it.  And our wedding party grand entrace song was Sirius by The Alan Parsons Project:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCR85u9QngQ.  It’s the starting lineup song for UND hockey, so because I and most of our wedding party are UND alum (and therefore huge UND Sioux hockey fans) it was perfect.
