Seeing as we were teenyboppers in the late '90s and early '00s, I can see my girls and I listening and singing along to a lot of cheesy boy bands--Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, 98 Degrees--along with other stuff, of course. We still know all the words and it really reminds us of the good times we've had over the years. I don't know if that's your kind of thing (it's not mine anymore either!), but it's definitely uplifting and will bring lots of laughs.
Maroon 5 is always fun.
Play some awesomely cheesy dance music like "Pump Up The Jam" or "Good Vibrations" or something like that :)
Thought of something else. "Supermodel" from the movie Clueless :) You and that song has inspired me to start my Getting Ready playlist lol!
I'd rather just listen to the radio instead of filling up your iPod. Tune in to a station you like and you'll be set!
Just about anything by Black Eyed Peas... their music always gets me pumped up! Haha I think I'd pick Boom Boom Pow, Let's get it started & Bebot. Of course those are some of my fav workout songs. Hmm they might get me too worked up...
For more mellow music, I like the idea of Jason Mzra, Hawksley Workman, David Ryan Harris & Jack Johnson.

Hahaha!!! ohhh yeah! totally Nsync! Think of those songs that make you smile and feel good like Colby Callait- Bubbly, or maybe some Sheryl Crow- that "I wanna soak up the sun" song comes to mind. Maybe some taylor swift if you like country at all. Maybe some Michael Jackson- "The way you make me feel"....Poker Face- Lady Gaga...Jupiter Rising- LA Girls (kind of an unknown band but they are kinda techno-dance-fun-music. I dunno, just some suggestions. When i get married my ipod list will be filled with all types of music from rock to rap to country to dance cause i love it all! every song does something different haha. Have fun!!!!!

My bridesmaids and I will be hanging out in my hotel suite all day...getting our hair and makeup done, eating lunch and finally, getting dressed. The suite has an ipod hookup, so I'd like to use it so we have some background music during the day.
I almost picture it as 'mood music' for the day, so I'm attempting to fill my pathetically empty ipod with feel good, fun (but not 'YMCA' tyep) music. I'm more of a Jackson 5, Jason Mraz (apparently I think they go hand in hand?) type of girl.
So if you were me, what types of music would you want to hear during the course of our very long...6 hour...'getting ready' session?
