So.. I have had certain songs picked out for while to play at our reception and now that I have to fill out the song playlist to give to our DJ Im not sure if I should use what I had in mind. We are getting married in Florida on the beach and then returning home a week later and having a reception.

I need some suggestions for songs to play at entry to reception, cake cutting, garter toss &, bouquet toss. I love all kinds of music new and old. I have actually found myself liking alot of motown for some reason. Like the Father/Daughter dance is "MY GIRL" .

What songs are you/did you use??

We are using "Wild Boys" by Duran Duran for the Garter toss and "I got you Babe" for cake cutting. I think we are going to play "Beauitful Girls" by Sean Kingston for the bouquet toss! :)

We are using "Simply the Best" for the parents intro, Party in the USA for flowr Girl and Ring Bearer and then a variety of songs for wedding party.

- Shipping up to Boston by Dropkick Murphys, Put your Hands up by Fatman Scoop, Big Pimpin, IT's Tricky and then for us we are using LET ME CLEAR MY THROAT!! :)

So far I've got "Pretty Fly For A White Guy" by Offspring for the garter toss, and "Only In Dreams" by Weezer as the last song. We're trying to nail down our entrance song, but have played around with a few TV theme songs like the American Gladiator theme!

I'd just think of some songs that you like and make those the feature songs for the cake cutting or bouquet toss. They don't have to be specific to that event.
