With a dress that has that full of a bottom I would suggest a hoop just because a crinoline skirt with that much tulle will probably be super hot. If you get a hoop at least it will be airy and off of your legs and you will get that perfect ballgown look
would this work?
Also I am 5'8" and a street size 14(american) 16(australian), so would I need a specific size?
it look slike it would work. It says the hoop is adjustable to you have some flexability with the size of the bottom and it looks nice and full.
I agree with getting a hoop skirt for sure. The one you posted would work. The only thing I would add - make sure you get one that zips up the back or has elastic (like the one you posted on Ebay). I wouldn't get one that ties at the waist because that has the potential to bunch or become untied.
Gorgeous dress BTW!

I am having a burgandy version of this dress made
I like the photos and versions of the dress with the skirt quite full like the following:
and this
What sort of underskirts do I need for this dress? Hoops? crinoline? what style and shape how many hoops etc. Also are the ones sold on ebay ok? Apparantly the bridal stores here hire them but they are very expensive! I am in Australia so need an inexpensive option that will ship here.
