Working on our registry.. we got all the essentials and fi mentioned he would like to register for “fun” stuff.
So.. we registered for a 5 ft snowcone maker, and 5 ft popcorn maker.. like the old time ones!
What did you register for just for fun?

A creamer shaped like a cow. We don’t really drink coffee. But it’s a creamer. Shaped like a cow.

We registered for a hammock. We have to take it off the registry, though, because my parents gave us one over the holidays. They bought it for themselves but ended up not liking it. I’ll never pass up a free hammock.
@luluvohn: We totally registered for a cow shaped creamer too! Great minds think alike.

@luluvohn: OMG we registered for the same thing! My mom has one and I always use it when we travel back home to visit!
Our registry was nearly 100% upgrades. I’ve been living out of college for almost 10 years so all of my mid-range priced kitchen things like microwave, toaster oven, pots and pans, spatulas are ALL on the fritz.
Without me realizing it – I did register for a lot of Kate Spade stuff and it was the first stuff to fly off the registry – KS frames, vases, wine glasses, etc…. Beautiful stuff!

- Wedding: May 2013 - Pavilion overlooking golf course scenery, reception at banquet hall
This work of art! It hangs on the wall above our beagle’s food bowl. (No one bought it for us, so we bought it with our registry completion coupon)

A Soda Stream machine. It was a cool idea at the time but we have yet to use it.

FI registered for an electric toothbrush (do you REALLY need a $170 toothbrush?!?!) and an electric razor. I tried to keep everything as practicle as possible because I know we’ll end up living in a small space.

Aside from the usual stuff, we registered for Cards Against Humanity, a Dyson dog grooming attachment, and a wonderfully tacky-fun glitter mistletoe Christmas ornament.
My husband was like, “OMG, we can vacuum the dogs directly instead of vacuuming the fur off the floor?! WIN!”
