We recently did some updating and my husband picked out the Fisher-Price Brentwood Baby Swing http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3471704. I looked at some reviews and they are not that great. As this is something I think will get lots of use, I'd like to find a decent one.

Does anyone have one they would recommend? We also registered for a smaller travel-size swing, but I think I'd like to have both options. Did anyone get away with just the travel swing?

    Thanks!

My daughter hated the travel swing. The one we had didn't cradle her the same way the larger ones did. It was a few years ago but we had the fisher price acquarium swing.

Here it is. We loved it. It has lights, sounds and a mobile.

I like this one for a travel one because it is half swing half bouncer seat.

I agree with Soontobe, I think those styles are more popular.

My two friends both have this one:

Since lots of people have told us that kids can go either way on swings and bouncers (some love 'em, some hate 'em), this is something that I really like getting used (my mom picked up some Fisher Price swing for $25 somewhere, which makes me feel a lot better about the possibility that my kid will hate it or that the quality isn't the greatest)
