@amallama:  Congrats on working out today!!! I went and worked out with a trainer today for the first time in my life and thought I was going to pass out. We even had to stop and take a break because he thought I was going to pass out. Keep up the great work!

I’m trying to do the couch to 5k too! Its so hard, my suggestion would be to ease into it, don’t overdo it and hurt yourself, but be proud of taking the first few steps!

After just a few weeks, both FH and I feel tired after running but ultimately we feel good. You will get there!

Good luck to you!

@amallama:  It gets easier with time, I promise. I was a college track athlete back in my day (about 8 years ago) and now…well I am a couch potato as well. I just started working out again about 2 months ago and I thought I was going to die. But, I have found for me it’s more about routine and consistency. I used to have to force myself to workout and build up the desire, now, if I go more than day without doing something, I feel gross.

Keep at it and good luck!

@amallama:  Do you mean you ran for 15 minutes solid, or did running and walking as a combo? The reason I ask is that you don’t run for thirty minutes until week 8 of C25K. Maybe I misread your post wrong, but if you ran thr whole way, no wonder you feel exhausted and uncomfortable. The first week is mostly walking

Regardless, good for you for taking control of your health. You can get fit and healthy 🙂
