Invitations! I have no idea why it’s one of the least important things but for some reason it’s been the hardest thing to make a decision on, everything else has been easy!

Everything… I find it hard to make decisions. But the most notable things were the invitations. I designed them myself and probably did 50 different styles. I wanted them to be PERFECT and it was doing my head in. My FI can make decisions well, so I’ve taken to just getting him to making the final call on everything. So much more relaxing.

And my hair/veil style. FI doesn’t want to see any of my outfit before the day, so he can’t help with that 🙁 I bought a veil, deicided it was too modern/not me. Decided a cap veil would suit me more, but don’t have any extra $$ to fork out, so I’m making it with what I’ve already got (sewing, beading, everything). I’ve redesigned it 10 times already. Wedding is in 37 days ;-/

I can’t decide on anything. I’m suffering from major pinterest overload.. I keep seeing new themes/colours/outlooks and thinking this is what I want.. and then changing my mind the next time I see something awesome!

I had the hardest time with music. There are an infinate number of songs out there, and I was always convinced there had to be something better!

Cake. I drove myself crazy on Pinterest and finally just decided to get a plain white sheet cake made up that I will decorate with berries and flowers. Summery, pretty, and non-bank breaking!

the ring first for sure (FI made the ultimate decision luckily!) and honestly whether or not to have a “wedding” or elope (I want to elope, he wanted a wedding, so wedding it is!)

Let’s just say the only firm decision I made was my flowers. I knew I wanted a yellow rose bouquet and nothing but yellow roses. Not even my mother giving me the look of just yellow roses, no filler could change my mind. Haha

Everything else I have debated back and forth and look to someone else for decisions. It took me months to find a dress, took me even longer to find invites. I’m still deciding on reception decor and that is bad considering I have less then a month. I can’t for the life of me pick out gifts for anyone. And music selection, forget about it. I waffle back and forth between songs on an hourly basis. I’ll be so happy when I can just call myself Mrs.

So far it’s bridesmaid dress and caterer.  BM dresses by a long shot.

But I haven’t even started on invitations yet!  Seems from PPs that I should buckle up.

My veil and our invitations. I’ve seriously designed FIFTEEN different versions of invitations – from simple and classic to typography focused to artsy to modern. I can’t make up my mind! Everything seems too formal, or too simple, or too plain, or too…everything.

One of these days I’m just going to print out samples of them all, tap them to the wall, close my eyes, and throw a dart.

For my veil, I just can’t decide on length, edging, and if I want a drop veil or a two layer veil. So basically everything.

Ceremony music.  I’ve decided on the processional and bridal entrance songs.  *think* I’ve settled on marriage license song.  But am still totally stuck on the recessional song.  Thinking I’m Yours by Jason Mraz but so not sure.  I also like Sign Sealed Delivered. (We have a guitar/violin duo doing the music).  FI isn’t that fussed so that’s not helpful.

I’ve had loads of things I went back and forth on about and got opinions from some diff peeps.  But it was ultimately generally my decision.
