ooooh, yay for this thread! we found a tie we thought would work and ordered one and it came yesterday. it is PERFECT for our color scheme which is "carolina blue" aka baby blue, black, and white. here's the tie:
a tip for any other bees who are searching... we ordered ours from The Tie Bar and man, their prices are unbeatable! i got that tip from another bee, so just passing it along.
my groom and his groomsmen are not wearing ties. they're old punks, they couldn't be bothered. fine with me though... it's a casual wedding, anyway.
however, my escort is a tie guy. he wears them to work everyday and to church on sundays. i told him he did not have to wear a tie in the wedding, but he said he'd feel naked without it. ha! so i have decided to buy him this tie, for father's day, and offer it as a good tie for the wedding. (our wedding is rustic themed, and we are actually screenprinting trees on our OOT bags, so if fits perfectly! ... and has a little edge.)

Love your ties! We have a robin's egg blue, cherry blossom pink, brown, and taupe as our colors. BM dresses are light blue, flower girls light pink. GM are wearing whatever suit they own. Here is the color scheme, groom tie, and GM ties (from Macy's).

So finding my GM ties was a little harder than I expected. I finally found them tho. Id be interested to see what ties people chose or if their GMs are wearing one at all.
So can I see a pic of what you chose for your GM and what your color scheme is?
Ill go first! My color scheme is apple red and orange and heres the GM ties they match the briesmaid dresses PERFECTLY! yay! My FHs tie is the same color as my dress which its being made atm, so no pics yet! They were purchased from a store called Tony Barlow.
