i am having a traditional catholic wedding ceremony at 2pm
my hairstylist told me that she booked another wedding and has to be done with my wedding party by 10:30am.
she suggested that our allotted hair time is 8am-10:30am. this will include 3BMS, my mom, and myself.
i’ve already done a hair trial and i love her work. she works fast, and she is awesome.
is 8am too early to start getting ready?
should i go first, or last? what time should i have makeup start?
thanks bees for your help!

I wouldn’t go first or last. At least that is what my MUA/hairstylist told me. She is going to start setting my curls then go to the other bridesmaids and then finish with me. Maybe your could try something like that depending on your hairstyle?

@princessbelle: thanks for you input.

I’d actually suggest starting earlier if you can. It takes about 40 minutes per up do. Does your stylist have an assistant?

We started at 8am and my wedding was at 4! Honestly 2.5 hours is NOT enough unless she has an assistant who will be doing some of the bridesmaids. If I were you I would be VERY displeased that she booked another wedding the same day and would probably consider going with someone else. Unless you are doing a LOT of pictures first you should be getting done with hair and make up a lot closer to the ceremony time than 3.5 hours.
