May 7th to be exact. We were/are planning a night wedding and we would like to know roughly what time it gets dark.
then FH says to me “what if it’s cold” and i went into panic mode!..what if it does get cold? i dont want to rent heaters.
then i decided maybe we should have a mid day wedding instead of a night night wedding?

Where are you at? You can look it up online. My photographer had looked up sunset to plan our picture timeline.

I have this website set for NY in September, where and when my wedding will happen but you can just reset that. It will let you know about when the sun will rise and set.
For the average temperatures you could always try googling your wedding location and time of year to get average temperatures.

Cotton- i did that also to see if it would be rain or shine and based on the last 3 years it should be relatively nice weather but it doesnt give an hour by hour to see the night temps. just an average
SuperBrook– less than 5 months to go!! im thinking the time changes right before then so it wont get dark here til around that time either which is a bummer =(

My wedding date is May 7, 2011 too! My wedding will be outdoors beginning at 6:00pm. So, I am happy it will not be getting dark early.

Cold in May? I’m guessing you’re not from Georgia… where are you from? I never thought it would get cold in May, even at night. I’m not sure when the sunset is. Sorry 🙁
