I"m having a 630 ceremony, and my hair and makeup artists are coming to me. I think they're both arriving at around 11, 11:15 to have myself and my 4 bms done by 2:30, 3:00pm. I was told not to shower the morning of, but to shower the night before and let my hair air dry. As for doing a quick rinse off (not washing my hair) I am probably doing it before hair and makeup, when I first wake up.
Our wedding was at 5:15 but we were having a first look at 2:30pm. For us hair and makeup started at 8:30am because it was a lot of people. The stylist came to the hotel with two assistants. At 8:30 they started with my mom and my mother-in-law, followed by the MOH and one bridesmaid, with the jr bridesmaid and flower girl hairstyling left for last since it'd be the easiest. My hair styling started around 12 (though I had my hair blow-dried earlier in the morning), and makeup at 1.
Since everyone was getting ready in my hotel room, I got up really early and was showered and ready by 8:30, when the stylist arrived.
My wedding was at 4:00 pm. I was at the spa at 1:00 pm to get the hair/makeup done; got out of there around 3:00 and went back to my hotel room to get dressed and do my nails. My hair had to be washed and dried before I arrived at the spa.
I would shower the night before. It is harder to hair to stay in updos with freshly washed hair. My ceremony was at 6;30 and I had my makeup done at 8 (only time she was available) and hair around noon. Gave me time to relax in between and not feel stressed.
my ceremony is at 1 and we are starting hair and makeup at 9am
I had my hair started at 7:30AM for my 11am picture taking time. I don't think I got done with my hair and to my hotel room until 10AM. Then I had an hour to do my makeup myself and get all dressed and have a snack. Then we quickly rushed over to the church for the pictures. I think we got there a little late though - maybe 11:15.
My hair took freaking forever. But I have super thick hair and it always takes about 200 bobby pins to hold it up.
Definitely shower the night before. You want dirty and dry hair for a stylist.
We are having a ceremony at 4pm and I've got myself and 2 of my BM's scheduled to get our hair styled from 10:30 to 12:30 at the salon. Since I'm doing wave/curls she said not to wash my hair the day of since your natural hair oils and that help with keeping it curled.

For a 5:30 wedding how do you arrange the day of schedule for hair and makeup?
..pics will be before so I prob have to be ready like 3
DO you recommend going to the salon of having people come to you?
When do you shower? After hair and before makeup or shower then hair and makeup?
If all the bridesmaids come along to the salon by what time do you have to be there?
